HAWAIIAN KOA

Grown only on the Hawaiian Islands this magical tree is
harvested only when the tree falls by natural causes.
The wood when finished has a honey color with reddish
tinted veins that shimmers in the light.
Originally used by the Ancient Hawaiians to carve their
first surfboards because of it's light weight to strength ratio it was
conscidered to have mythical powers.

EBONY MACASSAR
This is one of the rarest woods in the world and because
of it's remote growing locactions it is still harvested by hand.
This beautiful tree was prized in ancient Egypt by the
Pharaohs and was at one time cherished nearly as much as gold.
Grown primarily in Indonesia, Africa and India

BUBINGA

Bubinga is native to Gabon and the Cameroons in Africa.
(Guibourtia demeausei). Woodturners especially like
its even texture and delicate veins of dark red and often purple.
There are no other trees in the area surrounding a
Bubinga due to its mystical powers. Villagers regard their local Bubingas
as sacred places, and believe that the trees contain the spirits of
their ancestors.

BAMBOO

The new "wood" is really a
grass. Grown all over the world it only takes 3-5 years to come to harvesting
maturity and, then regrows after cutting.
Bamboo is becoming more poplar because
it's a sustainable natural resource and a beautiful golden hued product
that naturally brings warmth into the home.
An ancient grass that has been used
by all cultures for centuries.
